About All The Little Shops - Wombourne

All the Little Shops is an exciting new initiative to promote Wombourne’s existing traders and help maintain the vibrancy and long-term vitality of the village centre. This website has been sponsored by Sainsbury’s to ensure the independent traders in Wombourne share a collective voice and continue to represent the great shopping the village has to offer.

Funding has meant all independent retailers and businesses in this region can create their own webpage, display up to 20 products and, if they wish, trade online - totally free. It is hoped that the new Sainsbury’s supermarket will attract new visitors to Wombourne village and this website will help them uncover the great products and services that are available from our lively village.

It is easy for a retailer to set up a page on this website and just as easy for customers to see the diverse retail offer in Wombourne, browse a wide range of products and plan their shopping trip, as well as seeing what else there is to do “Whilst in Our Village”.

We hope that All the Little Shops, Wombourne will encourage local shopping and increase visits into the shops.

For those unable to visit the shops in person we have created a “secure single payment gateway” which means online visitors can buy a range of products from Wombourne’s different shops and pay by credit card - with just one safe and secure payment.

This important initiative is a first for Sainsbury’s and it is hoped that by working with local independents retailers – the soul of village life in Wombourne – they will take advantage of this great opportunity and allow the website to help build awareness of their business and encourage more people into their shops.

Joining together and promoting village trade under the umbrella of All the Little Shops means a stronger voice for Wombourne. It is hoped this initiative will encourage more independent retailers to join the scheme and put forward other marketing ideas that can be developed under the brand of All the Little Shops, Wombourne – such as simple voucher schemes that can be redeemed in-store, right through to using swipe card technology in All the Little shops nationwide.
